Platinum #284+285: Pic-a-Pix Color (EU Vita & PS4)

Hey there!

Last time I played a game like this was Mario Picross on my Gameboy. This was around 20 years ago.

What is the game all about?
Pic-a-Pix Color is a Picross game. For those unfamiliar with Picross, it’s some kind of logic puzzle. You must fill cells of a grid to reveal a hidden picture. To know which cells have to be filled, you have numbers on top and to the left. Usually, games like this are in black and white only. But as the name of the game implies, this one adds color.
There are 150 puzzles (all available from the start) and their gird sizes range from 5x5 to 20x20. In each puzzle, you must use 3-6 different given colors to reveal the picture. The 5x5 puzzles are easy and can be completed within short time – even by newcomers. The larger the grids become, the harder the puzzles will get. Completing a 20x20 puzzle can take 20 minutes or more.
If you like logical puzzles, you’ll truly enjoy this game. Adding color to the game takes Picross to the next level.

What about trophies?
The trophies in this game are straight forward. You must complete all puzzles and finish one of each size within a given time. You shouldn’t have any problems with the time-related trophies. Once you finish a puzzle, simply play it again and you should beat it in no time.
The time to complete this game highly depends on your logical skills. The first time it may take 15-20 hours but you should be able to beat in within 5-6 hours the second time.
If you’re having trouble with one of the pictures, you can find the solutions provided by Ferryjan here.

Where can I get this game?
Pic-a-Pix Color can be found in the EU and NA PSN store. It’s crossbuy (PS4 & Vita) and each version has its own stack. The PS4 version has only one stack, whereas the Vita version has a different stack for EU and NA.
If you need PSN cards, you can buy them at play-asia.comor at scdkey.com. There you get digital codes, which will be send to you via e-mail within minutes.

As a trophy hunter, should I get this game?
If you like logical puzzles, you should go for it. It’s not that hard but a little bit time consuming. Plus, you get 2 versions for the price of one.

After a very confusing beginning, you’re trapped inside this company and you must find a way out. For this, must collect items and solve puzzles. Until drugs become involved – from then on, it’s hard to determine what’s real and what’s just an imagination. The game is very dark and the flashlight will become your best friend. Although it takes a while until you find it. As mentioned, this game also contains survival horror elements. Later in the game you encounter some enemies and you must f...
