Platinum #249+250: Suicide Guy (NA & EU)

Hey there! Another easy double platinum. :-) What is the game all about? Suicide Guy is an adventure game. You take control of a character who fell asleep on his couch while watching TV. In his dreams, he realizes that the bottle of beer he was holding in his hands is falling to the floor. Now he needs to wake up quickly to save his beloved beer. To do this, you must solve some puzzles to end the dream by committing suicide. Unfortunately, you don’t wake up. Instead, you end up in another weirder dream. There are 24 different levels (dreams). Every dream takes place in another location and has his own unique puzzle to solve. Some of them are quite challenging and it might take a while to figure out the correct solution. What about trophies? To unlock the Platinum Trophy, you must complete all levels and find every collectible in the game (1 per level). Don’t worry if you miss a collectible, there’s chapter select and you can replay each level as soon as you’ve beaten it. As mentioned ...

You've been waiting - February XING Update on Steam and Oculus Home!

John here. Wowzers! You’ve been waiting, and now it’s here. It’s a XING update, and a big one to boot! We got a LOT of new updates coming out. Updates like these are the reason XING is the coolest cinematic gaming experience there is. You don’t know the half of it , that is, you won’t until you read the wonderful patch notes we made for you. TL;DR VR comfort features (and sprinting!), cleaner interactions with motion controllers, CPU and GPU optimizations, and a whole lot of bug fixes. Thanks everyone for reporting and patiently waiting for many of these bugs - this community may still be small but you all have big hearts : D. This is actually our 8th update since launch - you can look back on the Steam page to read the previous patches (the updates were applied to Oculus Home too!) Also, if you've played the game, please make sure to leave us a review on Steam  or Oculus ! Kori and I are amidst discussion about what lies in store for the future but I can safely tease that some n...

Platinum #247+248: Little Adventure on the Prairie (Vita & PS4)

Hey there! This is probably the easiest, quickest and cheapest Platinum Trophy of 2018. What is the game all about? Little Adventure on the Prairie is an adventure, a platformer, a fucking shit game in which you run from left to right and kill noob enemies with your sword. There are 12 levels within this game and you’re doing same all the time. Running, jumping and killing the same enemies over and over again with your sword. Even though the enemies may look different from chapter to chapter, they still have only a sword with which they rarely attack and are still weak. Your commands are also quite limited. You can run, jump, and can do exactly one type of attack. The attack and defense upgrades you find don’t seem to make you any stronger at all. I don’t really want to talk about graphics or music, because it’s completely outdated. The whole game looks like it was developed within 5 minutes. On the positive side, the levels are very short and the whole game can be completed within ...

Platinum #246: Broken Age (Vita PH)

Hey there! Broken Age has been released in 2015 for the PSN store. In 2017, limitedrungames.com released a limited physical version of the game for PS4 and Vita. Surprisingly, the Vita version has an unique trophy stack. What is the game all about? Broken Age is a Point-and-Click game in which you’re in control of 2 characters (Shay Volta and Vella Tartine). Both live in different worlds and you can switch between them at any time. During the play, their worlds collide and both end up being trapped in the other one’s world. To proceed with the story, you must solve genre-typical puzzles. Be aware, the puzzles in this game are quite complicated. This game is definitively not recommended for Point-and-Click newcomers. Broken Age has a very nice graphical design and a good soundtrack. Furthermore, it features very prominent voice actors like Elijah Wood and Jack Black. The controls are very good and if you’re playing on the Vita, you can use the touch-screen. Unfortunately, the touch-...

Platinum #245: Mecho Tales (Vita)

Hey there! Thanks to limitedrungames.com , everyone outside of the US is now also able to play the Vita version of this game. Presupposed that you’ve been able to grab one of the limited copies of this game. What is the game all about? Mecho Tales is a very short and easy platformer. You must run and jump with your character through a few very short levels in which you must beat enemies and bosses. Every beaten enemy drops a few cogs which are the currency in the game. With this cogs you can buy new drones (weapons). I know, this all doesn’t sound bad but be aware, this game is terrible! On the Vita, your worst problem will be the controls. The left analog stick is really imprecise and doesn't work properly. Whenever you cam to a tricky part, like when you have to jump over a series of spikes, use the D-Pad. Surprisingly, you can jump much farther and more precisely than with the analog stick. What about trophies? You’ll get most of the trophies while progressing through the game...

Platinum #244: The Coma: Recut

Hey there! If you want to get the Platinum Trophy for this game, make sure you download it from the HK PSN store or buy the limited physical release . In all other PSN stores, it’s only a 100% game. What is the game all about? First of all, The Coma: Recut is a revised version of The Coma: Cutting Class , which has been released on Steam back in 2015. Originally developed and published by the Korean Devespresso Games , they teamed up with Digerati Distribution for a console release. The Coma: Recut is a 2D survival horror game in which you take control of Youngho, who is a student at Sehwa High. He fell asleep during finals and woke up in a living nightmare, in which he gets hunted by a killer. Your task is easy: survive! To survive, you can run through school and hide in dark places. You also have a flashlight, with which you can find items in the dark. But be careful, intensive use of the flashlight will draw too attention towards you, which will lead to your death. The game is re...

Platinum #243: Knee Deep

Hey there! I wanted to play this game for a long time but there haven’t been any good guides and the game was too expensive for me. Lately some awesome guides have been released and the game was on sale. Thus, I could finally play this game. What is the game all about? Most people would consider Knee Deep as an adventure but for me, this genre doesn’t fit to this game. You don’t walk around on your own. Instead, you’re just giving answers to proceed with the story. Thus, it’s more like a Visual Novel. The game takes place in Cypress Knee and starts with the suicide of an actor. The game is split into 3 acts with various chapters in which you take control of Romana Teague (blogger), Jack Bellet (reporter) or K.C. Gaddis (private investigator). These people want to find out more about the suicide and uncover some well-hidden secrets. As already mentioned, Knee Deep is very story-driven and all you must to is to give some answers to proceed with the story. The story is really good and t...
