Platinum #244: The Coma: Recut

Hey there!

If you want to get the Platinum Trophy for this game, make sure you download it from the HK PSN store or buy the limited physical release. In all other PSN stores, it’s only a 100% game.

What is the game all about?
First of all, The Coma: Recut is a revised version of The Coma: Cutting Class, which has been released on Steam back in 2015. Originally developed and published by the Korean Devespresso Games, they teamed up with Digerati Distribution for a console release.
The Coma: Recut is a 2D survival horror game in which you take control of Youngho, who is a student at Sehwa High. He fell asleep during finals and woke up in a living nightmare, in which he gets hunted by a killer. Your task is easy: survive!
To survive, you can run through school and hide in dark places. You also have a flashlight, with which you can find items in the dark. But be careful, intensive use of the flashlight will draw too attention towards you, which will lead to your death.
The game is really nice. It offers a good story and awesome hand drawn graphics. The story is brilliant but unfortunately, it’s very short.

What about trophies?
This game has very less trophies but most of them are missable. Luckily, it isn’t very long so you can experience the story on your own and came back later for a trophy clean up. If you just want to get this game done as quick as possible, you can use the text walkthrough from playstationtrophies.orgor below video walkthrough.
Even though I was able to complete the game in around 1 hour, I haven’t included The Coma: Recut in my 1 HOUR PLATINUM TROPHIES list, as I was reading the text guide and watching the video a few times to prepare myself for this game. But even without this, you can unlock all trophies in under 2 hours.

Where can I get this game?
As already mentioned above, the only digital version of this game that offers a Platinum Trophy is available in the HK PSN store. In the EU / NA store you’ll only get a 100% game.
If you need PSN cards, you can buy them at play-asia.comor at scdkey.com. There you get digital codes, which will be send to you via e-mail within minutes.
Alternately, there’s also a play-asia.com exclusive physical release available. It’s limited to 2000 pieces and includes the game, the soundtrack, a manual, stickers and a numbered certificate. This is a must have for all collectors.

As a trophy hunter, should I get this game?
Yes, but make sure to buy the HK version.

Hey there! A short and easy pixel-art game with a few survival elements. Very enjoyable! What is the game all about? The Long Reach is a 2D side-scrolling adventure / point and click game mixed with a few survival horror elements. The pixel-art is very appealing and retro-fans will love this game. Most of the time you’re in control of Stuart, who acts as a guinea pig for a company called General Education. After a very confusing beginning, you’re trapped inside this company and you must find a way out. For this, must collect items and solve puzzles. Furthermore, you will learn more about the backstory and the main story will become clearer. Until drugs become involved – from then on, it’s hard to determine what’s real and what’s just an imagination. The game is very dark and the flashlight will become your best friend. Although it takes a while until you find it. As mentioned, this game also contains survival horror elements. Later in the game you encounter some enemies and you must f...
