Platinum #240: Steins;Gate (NA Vita)

Hey there!

Stack 5/9 done. Maybe someday I’ll have played them all.

What is the game all about?
Steins;Gate is a Visual Novel (VN), which has been released in Japan already in 2013. 2015 it has been translated into English and since then it’s also available in EU / NA.
I was told that Steins;Gate is one of the best VNs. If you’re a fan of the Anime, or Animes in general, you’ll for sure enjoy reading. It’s all about time traveling and your choices really matter in this game, as they will have a high impact on the ending. And those choices are different from other VNs. You don’t have to choose from a few answers, instead you’ll receive e-mails and phone calls. Depending on your replies to the e-mails of accepting / declining a call, the story will change.
As it has been developed by 5bp., it also has small references to other VNs like Chaos;Head (Gero Froggies anyone?).

What about trophies?
As in most VNs, the biggest task is to reach all endings. Every different ending will unlock a trophy and you’ll also get a trophy for reaching all endings. Then of course there are some other miscellaneous trophies like 100% CG or unlocking some wallpapers. Especially the wallpapers can be quite tough if you don’t know what to do. Luckily, there are good guides available with which you’ll unlock the Platinum Trophy within 2-3 hours. Of course, only if you decide to skip through the game. For the EU and NA version I’d recommend using this guide from playstationtrophies.organd for every other version this guide from ps3imports.org. Both are perfect.

Where can I get this game?
If your main account is tied to the NA PSN store, you can simply download the NA Vita version from afore mentioned store. Otherwise you can buy this version at play-asia.com..
If you need PSN cards, you can buy them at play-asia.comor at scdkey.com. There you get digital codes, which will be send to you via e-mail within minutes.

As a trophy hunter, should I get this game?
Whenever you stumble across a version of Steins;Gate or one of its sequels or spin-offs you haven’t played yet, go get it. All of them have a lot of stacks and all of them can be completed within a few hours.

Platinum #315+316: The Long Reach (PS4 NA & EU)

Hey there! A short and easy pixel-art game with a few survival elements. Very enjoyable! What is the game all about? The Long Reach is a 2D side-scrolling adventure / point and click game mixed with a few survival horror elements. The pixel-art is very appealing and retro-fans will love this game. Most of the time you’re in control of Stuart, who acts as a guinea pig for a company called General Education. After a very confusing beginning, you’re trapped inside this company and you must find a way out. For this, must collect items and solve puzzles. Furthermore, you will learn more about the backstory and the main story will become clearer. Until drugs become involved – from then on, it’s hard to determine what’s real and what’s just an imagination. The game is very dark and the flashlight will become your best friend. Although it takes a while until you find it. As mentioned, this game also contains survival horror elements. Later in the game you encounter some enemies and you must f...

Injustice 2: Legendary Edition

Injustice 2 is a fighting video game based upon the DC Universe. It was developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is the sequel to 2013's Injustice: Gods Among Us. The game was initially released in May 2017 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One; a Microsoft Windows version was released later in November 2017. An expanded version of the game, titled Injustice 2: Legendary Edition, was released in March 2018 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. Similar to the previous installment, a companion mobile app was released for Android and iOS devices. A prequel comic book series of the same name, written by Tom Taylor, was also released beginning in April 2017. The core gameplay remains similar to its predecessor, albeit with minor adjustments to returning game mechanics.
