Platinum #225: One Tap Hero (PS4)

Hey there!

I know I’m late but Happy New Year to all of you. About time to tell you something about my first Platinum Trophy of 2018.

What is the game all about?
One Tap Hero is a platformer in which you have minimal control over your character. Your character automatically runs from left to right and only stops or changes direction when hitting an object or a wall. The only thing you can do is to make your character jump – similar to games like Funk of Titan or older games like Sonic or Super Mario.
The controls of this game are very good – there’s no delay. Also, the graphical style is very nice.
Your task in every of the 100 levels is to collect all 3 stars and make it to the exit in shortest possible way. You have unlimited time but your bonus is higher the faster you are and you need to accumulate 145,000 points for a trophy. To get all 3 stars, you must figure out the correct way of how to beat the puzzles. These puzzles are easy at the beginning but get harder with every level.

What about trophies?
Most of the trophies will unlock while getting 3 stars in each of those levels. Then there are some trophies which require you to get an accumulated amount of points and a few random trophies like dying 1000 times or jumping 10 times on the same spring.
The game isn’t that hard at the beginning but for the later levels I recommend using the trophy guide which can be found on playstationtrophies.org. The guide is perfect and includes videos which will show you how to beat each level.

Where can I get this game?
One Tap Hero is only available in the Hong Kong and Chinese PSN store.
If you don’t know how to set up a Hong Kong account, check out this video by my buddy IBadDriverI. If you need PSN cards, you can buy them here. There you get digital codes, which will be send to you via e-mail within minutes.

As a trophy hunter, should I get this game?

Platinum #315+316: The Long Reach (PS4 NA & EU)

Hey there! A short and easy pixel-art game with a few survival elements. Very enjoyable! What is the game all about? The Long Reach is a 2D side-scrolling adventure / point and click game mixed with a few survival horror elements. The pixel-art is very appealing and retro-fans will love this game. Most of the time you’re in control of Stuart, who acts as a guinea pig for a company called General Education. After a very confusing beginning, you’re trapped inside this company and you must find a way out. For this, must collect items and solve puzzles. Furthermore, you will learn more about the backstory and the main story will become clearer. Until drugs become involved – from then on, it’s hard to determine what’s real and what’s just an imagination. The game is very dark and the flashlight will become your best friend. Although it takes a while until you find it. As mentioned, this game also contains survival horror elements. Later in the game you encounter some enemies and you must f...

It is the sequel to 2013's Injustice: Gods Among Us. The game was initially released in May 2017 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One; a Microsoft Windows version was released later in November 2017.
