Platinum #206: The Inner World: The Last Wind Monk (EU Version)

Hey there!

This year, I already played both versions of The Inner World (EU + NA). I hated every second of this game and I thought it couldn’t get worse. Oh boy, I was teached a lesson. The Inner World: The Last Wind Monk is even worse than its prequel.

What is the game all about?
You continue the story of flute-nose Robert, the last wind monk. The game catches up the story from its prequel and you’ll find yourself back in Asposia. Here you must solve typical Point & Click puzzles to advance with the story. The design and mechanics of The Inner World: The Last Wind Monk are exactly the same is in the first game. If you enjoyed The Inner World, you’ll also like this game. If you hated its predecessor, like me, or don’t like Point & Clicks in general, it’s better to not buy this game.

What about trophies?
The trophies are the same as in The Inner World. You must beat the game without using any hints, do some random shit and talk start a new game in which you make us of hints. There one trophy called “Blabbermouth” which requires you to talk with all NPCs within this game. This trophy has been glitched in both versions (yes, there’s also a NA version available), but has been patched recently. If you want to use a guide, I recommend the video walkthrough by my buddy IBadDriverI. Following this video, you should be able to unlock all trophies within 2-3 hours.

Where can I get this game?
The EU version can be bought in the EU PSN store and the NA version can be bought in the NA PSN store. If you don’t know how to set-up an account for a different region, watch out this video by my buddy IBadDriverI. Everything is explained in detail. If you need Japanese PSN cards, you can buy them here. There you get digital codes, which will be send to you via e-mail within minutes.
You can also buy the game physically in every well sorted game store. But you need to consider that you’ll only get the specific version in your region. If you want to have both versions physically, you can order them at play-asia.com.

As a trophy hunter, should I get this game?
It’s a very easy but annoying game. If you haven’t played its prequel (The Inner World) yet, you might wanna try out The Inner World first. It gives you a good idea about what you will be up to in The Inner World: The Last Wind Monkbut can be completed in lesser time. If you just wanna try out a Point & Click, don’t buy this game. There are way better games of this genre out there. The only good thing about The Inner World: The Last Wind Monk is that it has 2 trophy lists. If you play them back-to-back, you’ll be for sure faster the second time.

Yours,
AvengedEvil

After a very confusing beginning, you’re trapped inside this company and you must find a way out. For this, must collect items and solve puzzles. Until drugs become involved – from then on, it’s hard to determine what’s real and what’s just an imagination. The game is very dark and the flashlight will become your best friend. Although it takes a while until you find it. As mentioned, this game also contains survival horror elements. Later in the game you encounter some enemies and you must f...
