Platinum #203: Lost Grimoires: Stolen Kingdom

Hey there!

It has been a while since the last time I played a game developed by Artifex Mundi. Soon after starting the game I realized why. Because I hate Hidden Objective Puzzles.

What is the game all about?
Lost Grimoires: Stolen Kingdom is like any other game published by Artifex Mundi. It’s a Point & Click, in which you also need to solve a few mini-games and some Hidden Objective Puzzles (HOP). In case you don’t know what a HOP is: It’s a picture in which you can see a lot of different items and your task is to find specific ones. The game has the same graphical style and offers the same mechanics as other games by this publisher (Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink, Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride, Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart…). There’s also a story but as in any other Artifex Mundi game, it’s negligible.

What about trophies?
The good thing about this game is, you can unlock all trophies within one playthrough. To do so, you must beat the game on expert and you need to look out for the missable trophies like picking up all collectibles or completing all HOPs without using any hints. You shouldn’t have any issues doing so if you follow the great guide on trueachievements.com. It’s a detailed walkthrough with which you should be able to finish the game within 2-3 hours.

Where can I get this game?
This game is only available at the PSN store for a 9.99€ / 9.99$. It’s also frequently on sale so you may want to wait a little bit in case you want so save some money. As far as I know, it’s available in all regions. Just be aware that all regions share the same trophy list. This means, there’s unfortunately no stacking possible.
If you need PSN cards, you can buy them here. There you get digital codes, which will be send to you via e-mail within minutes.

As a trophy hunter, should I get this game?
Basically, any Artifex Mundi game is worth playing if you’re out for an easy Platinum Trophy. The advantage of Lost Grimoires: Stolen Kingdom is, that you can unlock all trophies within one playthrough, which shouldn’t take more than 2-3 hours with using the above-mentioned guide. This and Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink are worth a try.

Yours,
AvengedEvil

Hey there! A short and easy pixel-art game with a few survival elements. Very enjoyable! What is the game all about? The Long Reach is a 2D side-scrolling adventure / point and click game mixed with a few survival horror elements. The pixel-art is very appealing and retro-fans will love this game. After a very confusing beginning, you’re trapped inside this company and you must find a way out. For this, must collect items and solve puzzles. Until drugs become involved – from then on, it’s hard to determine what’s real and what’s just an imagination. The game is very dark and the flashlight will become your best friend. Although it takes a while until you find it. As mentioned, this game also contains survival horror elements. Later in the game you encounter some enemies and you must f...
