Platinum #199: Chaos;Child らぶchu☆chu!! (PS4 Version)

Hey there!

Recently, there has been a great deal on the Japanese PSN Store. You’ve gotten 50% off if you buy 2 of the selected games. In my case, this meant get 2 games for the price of 1 as I’ve chosen Chaos;Child らぶchuchu!! and Steins;Gate 0 (both for PS4), as they had the same price. Today I’m gonna tell you something about Chaos;Child らぶchuchu!!. If you want to know more about Steins;Gate 0, check out my previous blog.

What is the game all about?
Chaos;Child らぶchuchu!! AKA Chaos;Child Love chuchu!! offers everything a typical Visual Novel has to offer. There a weird love story, half-naked girls and different endings (bad, good and true). But it plays a little bit different than other Visual Novels. At the beginning, you need to choose some pictures in the correct order. This is the followed by 2 sections in which you must choose between yes and no a few times. In the last part of the game you must choose between Positive and Negative by pressing L2 respectively R2.

What about trophies?
As in any other Visual Novel, you get most of the trophies by advancing through the story and reaching different endings. Of course, there are also trophies like getting 100% CG or reading all tips. If you follow the awesome trophy guide on ps3imports.org, you should be able to unlock the Platinum Trophy in approximately 1 hour. There’s also a Vita version available for this game which has a separate trophy list. So, you could play both versions simultaneously and unlock 2 Platinum Trophies at the same time.

Where can I get this game?
The easier and faster way to get the PS4 version is the Japanese PSN Store. For this you need a Japanese account as well as a few thousand Yen on your account. If you don’t know how to set-up a Japanese account, watch out this video by my buddy IBadDriverI. Everything is explained in detail. If you need Japanese PSN cards, you can buy them here. There you get digital codes, which will be send to you via e-mail within minutes.
In case you prefer physical over digital versions, you can buy this game at play-asia.com or solarisjapan.com. The game is cheaper there but you must consider transport costs and import taxes from Japan to the country you live in.

As a trophy hunter, should I get this game?
Yes! This game is short and easy. It’s definitively worth buying when you want to get a fast Platinum Trophy. As already mentioned, there are 2 different versions of this game (one for PS4 and one for Vita) which can be played simultaneously. Just don’t forget that your games are locked to one user on the Vita. This means you may want to buy the physical Vita version of this game.

Yours,
AvengedEvil
