Platinum #195: Energy Balance (EU PS4 Version)

Hey there!

“Energy Balance” is a logical game in which you need to sum up numbers in rows and columns to reach given sum at the end of each row / column. This may sound simple, and it is actually very easy for the first few levels, bet the difficulty increases with every level.

To unlock the Platinum Trophy, you first need to complete all 12 levels in NORMAL mode. Here I’d say that the first 7-8 levels are doable without much problems. From level 9-12 the game becomes very difficult. But after a few retries you should be able to beat them all. The trick is to stay focused and to find the right spot to start. As soon as this is done you’re able to enter HARDCORE mode. Here you must beat 4 levels. Level 1 and 12 are easier than the last levels in NORMAL mode but levels 3 and 4 are just a pain in the ass. It took me a lot of retries, and a lot of hours, just to beat those 2 levels. And after beating HARCORE level 4 it’s still not done. There are still these four SQUARE mode levels you must complete. Luckily, they aren’t really that hard and you shouldn’t have to much issues in beating them. It’s just trial and error. After beating the last level, the Platinum Trophy for “Energy Balance” will be yours.

If you’re good at Java programming, you can take advantage of the algorithmic solution that can be found on psnprofiles.com. I tried it with one of my secondary accounts but failed awfully due to my lack of programming skills. So, please use it at your own risk.

After failing to get the algorithmic solution to work, I decided to do this game legit. As I didn’t know how long this will take to complete, and as I didn’t want to have another incompleted game in my trophy list, I decided to create my first blank account ever. With this, I could play the game whenever I had time and it didn’t affect my overall completion percentage. Maybe I’ll make use of blank accounts more often now. If you don’t know what a blank account is, you might check out this video by StayPationt Trophies:

There are 4 versions of this game available in the PSN stores. These are: EU PS4, EU Vita, NA PS4 and NA Vita, which are all very cheap. This means that you can unlock up to 3 Platinum Trophies with this game. But I want to warn you once again. It might be easy when you get the algorithmic solution to work but it’s for sure very hard if you do it legit. It’s best to test this game with a secondary or blank account first.

Yours,
AvengedEvil

Although it takes a while until you find it. As mentioned, this game also contains survival horror elements. Later in the game you encounter some enemies and you must f...
